The Garden

The property was originally the farmhouse for the whole of the Achara estate, the house of which is a few hundred yards away.

Now Achara Farmhouse sits in its own 35 acre plot of land, offering total privacy and seclusion to its guests.

The one acre garden surrounding the house contains a variety of rhododendrons, camellias, magnolias and trees old and new.

The house faces west and is surrounded by open fields. In summer the sun sets late into the night.

An abandoned Victorian railway line runs past the back of the house. It now serves as a private pathway to the cycle track heading north
